Salomon Pilot V Pro is a Salomon 2004 model.

This is the high end model of Salomon speed/ training skates.

Frames: 340mm
Tension Force 5 Wheel, max 84
Extruded aluminum
They are relatively stiff frames. Well balanced.

Wheels are great. Salomon SP Wheels 84mm / 83A Elliptic Micro Hub. Racer profile. Fast yet sure grip.

Bearings are great. Twincam microbearings 688Z. They have real long free spin.

Boots construcdtion: Salomon boots are always great to me and these are not exception. Minimal calf design is good (it would be better if lower). The cuff is not a bucke instead velcro strap at top.
Lace is waxed speed lace. Nice. There is one ratchet buckle system power strap for heel support.

Overall rating of this pair of skates is "excellent".
Fast, Comfortable and Relaiable. Great pair.
